The Londoner

One of our biggest goals is for our friends and family to spend as much time together as possible. Therefore, we have reserved a batch of rooms for our guests at The Londoner. Located in one of our favorite locations in the city, it will provide you the perfect home base to explore throughout your stay!

We have formally block booked Thursday 11th and Friday 12th July. In order to reserve one of these rooms, please indicate you would like to do so using our RSVP form (charged at £412 per night). You are more than welcome to reach out to the hotel directly to book shoulder dates (charged at £556 per night), please contact Angela Lepera at angela.lepra@thelondoner.com and mention you are a part of Nadia and Yousef's wedding.

Please note that rooms are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.

Accommodation

We have the category 'king room' reserved for our guests (image of a kings room is to the left) which is inclusive of breakfast for one. If your room is double occupancy, there would simply be a £29 upgrade for you both to have breakfast included.

You can see all amenities included HERE.

BY AIR

We suggest flying into one of the large London airports - London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW). From there, you can either get the train/tube on the Piccadilly Line to the Leicester Square stop or take a taxi/uber. There will be a taxi rank directly outside of the airport.

WEEKEND TRANSPORT

Our Welcome Party will be located in central London, we recommend walking there from The Londoner or hopping in a black cab. For those staying at The Londoner, please ask the
concierge to call one for you.

Please note our wedding celebration takes place around 28 miles outside of the city, in the beautiful British countryside. For ease of guests, we will be arranging for a group shuttle to and from the venue from The Londoner. If you are staying elsewhere, you will need to make your way to The Londoner to take advantage of the shuttle.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you! As we turn the page to a new chapter in our lives your thoughtful contributions, instead of traditional gifts, would mean the world to us. Your generosity will not only be remembered and appreciated, but will also contribute to our honeymoon adventures and the future home we dream of. While your love and company are the most precious gifts, your support adds an extra layer of happiness to our journey.

Much love and many thanks!

Museums

Victoria & Albert Museum - A favorite of Nadia, this is your go-to when it comes to all things fashion & design. Don't miss their beautiful café, take time to grab a tea and reflect on how beautiful the space is- and, in fact, one of the world's oldest museum cafés.

Tate Modern - International modern and contemporary art.

The Courtauld - A collection of paintings, prints and drawings.

Imperial War Museums - For the WWI and WWII historians.

Tate Britain - A collection of art made in Britain.

The Science Museum

Natural History Museum

Churchill War Rooms

BREAKFAST & BRUNCH

Granger & Co. - Australian Breakfast Spot... the ricotta hotcakes, banana and honeycomb butter is not to be missed. Locations are throughout the city.
The Ivy - Though it's open for every meal, we prefer brunch here.
Berners Tavern - Jason Atherton's upmarket Modern British restaurant - for an upscale breakfast.
Farm Girl - A favorite of Nadia's.

LUNCH

Borough Market - If you like the idea of street food, this is your place. Don't skip the donuts from Bread Ahead.
Ottolenghi - Pick up a selection of treats for a picnic.
Rita's SOHO - We would go for lunch, get the Caesar salad with fried chicken and a dirty martini.
Bleecker Burger - Yousef's go-to for burgers + fries.
Bluebird - Modern European + a side of great people-watching.

AFTERNOON TEA

Fortnum & Mason - Classic and a great price point for what you get.
The Ritz - A London landmark for Afternoon Tea.
Claridge's - An icon for afternoon tea.
Sketch - A modern take on tea time... here the interiors are just as whimsical as the afternoon tea.

DINNER

Gymkhana - Opt for the tasting menu or go with a group to try several items. Londoners argue this is the best Indian food in the city. You'll need to make a reservation quite far (months) in advance.
Hunan - Chinese tasting menu, try for reservations quite far in advance.
Dishoom - If you love Indian cuisine, it's a must... our go-to is the Chicken Ruby.
The Surprise Chelsea - Quintessential British Pub.
The Pelican - Upscale pub in Notting Hill.
Zephyr - You can tell this place has the coolest guests in London, great vibes, greek food. “Secret” bar downstairs with even cooler atmosphere.
River Café - A bit out of the way but it's on the top of every cool Londoner's 'list'.
Big Mamma - Not a specific location (there are several restaurants) but everyone of them is *chef's kiss* if you are in the mood for Italian.
Clos Maggiore - An incredibly romantic setting with one of London's best wine list.
Bombay Bustle - Hip Indian resturant in Mayfair with a focus on classic dishes from Bombay.

COCKTAILS & WINE

Connaught Bar - One of the best bars in the world famous for tableside martinis.
Gordon's Wine Bar - The oldest wine bar in London.
Fit'z Bar - Great cocktails with an even better interior.
LSQ Rooftop - Leicester Square - Cocktails with an exceptional view.
The Alchemist Bevis Marks - Vintage-modern bar with unique cocktails.
Experimental Cocktail Club Chinatown - Come here for speakeasy vibes.
Swift Soho - Go for the cocktails, stay for the whiskey list.

The official party will go until midnight on the night of the celebration at Cliveden House. For those who want a later evening, we encourage you to look at nightclubs in central London, the shuttle will drop all guests off at The Londoner and from there, there will be many options.

One of the benefits of London is that you do not need a car in order to explore the city. If you are staying in the countryside or you do rent a car, parking is available at our wedding celebration location.

Please note, parking in London is very difficult and you will need to pay additional charges to the City of London to drive in the city.

It takes between 7 - 8 hrs for a non-stop flight from New York to London Heathrow. If you're flying from Los Angeles, you can expect a flight time closer to 10-11 hrs. Delta, Virgin Atlantic & British Airways run direct flights to LHR from JFK in New York and LAX in Los Angeles.
